The dimensions adapt perfectly to the spark plug insulator, preventing external discharge while the constant resistive value is ensured. The body of the resistive caps is generally made of robust phenolic resin which offers excellent resistance to heat and mechanical stress. Special rubber or silicone rings prevent electric discharges in case of humidity.
