NGK-NTK oxygen sensors are fitted as original equipment by many homes and therefore constitute an original part or, for models that do not mount them originally, a spare qualitatively equal or superior to the original. Oxygen sensors suffer a relative wear due to considerable thermal, chemical and mechanical properties, which they are subjected. The lambda probes too worn react with excessive inertia to changes in the mixture, the regulate too slowly and do not reach more normal regulation capacity. The fuel consumption and the values of the exhaust gas increases and the negative effects are found by analyzing the exhaust gas.
