Pair of brake discs EBC Brakes brand series "X" Floating and microlights, are installed in place of the OEM.

The steel used for the bands braking discs EBC "X" series is made from a special alloy with friction higher than normal stainless steel heat treated and used in standard discs; it offers an improvement up to 10% of the effect of friction and, consequently, of the braking performance. The weight of the "X" series is further reduced by 5-10% thanks to the use of a system consisting of only 6 rivets square head on a central hub in light alloy which, even in this case, it is more effective compared to the standard components.

The discs "X" series are equipped with the exclusive and patented S-Drive EBC, characterized by square rivets stuck in the holes on the disc and on the hub that allow the braking band external to expand and contract freely according to the heat produced in stage braking, without creating problems stiffening. The stiffening occurs when the discs are hot during intense braking and the braking band is in contact with the rivets (usually round) that separate the inner hub and the outer braking band. The new system of EBC allows to completely eliminate this kind of problem, which represents 100% of the causes of malfunction of the disks affected by distortion and vibration.
